Anime fashionistas.
Понедельник Дек 22, 2008Once again I come back to my new passion-anime Death Note. Actually, today I finished watching it. No, I hadn’t left it, I just watched last episode. I’m a little bit disappointed by the last episodes: too much is blended in them…But now I want to tell not about the plot. Few days ago I casually found in internet a photo of one guy, who imitates one of protagonists of this anime. Actually, its even wasn’t his photo, I found it casually on one site of acquaintances, and it wasn’t his page, he was like “sight” for one Russian guy in Tokyo! I thought that it’s funny, this anime is of 2006 but I didn’t hear about it until now and nowhere I was meeting such photos? What is interesting, that next day I was looking through many street-style blogs and I saw another guy looking like another protagonist of this anime! You can say that I’m simply became a fan and that’s why I see what I want to see. Maybe it’s right. But I realized one thing: even anime personages can became a fashion icons! And one more: those people, who strongly try to imitate them look worsen that those who just are similar (here is one photo of guy, who is “strongly tries” and one guy, who I consider is simply similar, maybe he even is not trying to be so)! And finally, I found a photo of one Russian pop-star, who also looks like anime:) Yep…interesting…Has he watched it before choosing his own style?
P.s. Here there are photos of those people, that probably at all did not hear about this anime, I did not try to offend anybody with this post, it is simply for an fun, and for the purpose to prove that anime heroes can be legislators of modern fashion.

btw, thanks for your comment! haha it’s funny. i live in a super hot place and dream of living in a cool temperate country whereas you dream the opposite… alas, the grass is always greener on the other side. =) hope you’ll get to come to Singapore one day soon! you’re realize how terrible hot weather can be haha…

blog is not a competion about having the moist important amount of reader, blog is about your inner truth
it’s better to share values with few people than have a lots of readers but without anything in commom
