Cleopatra’s secrets.

Yesterday I found one interesting and original article about Cleopatra’s secrets. I think that some of them are very useful for modern woman. It’s not as usually «beauty secrets», these refer more to psychology. This is a short summary:
1. Intellectual games. Not to neglect the life, it is necessary to build all the time possible events in the mind, think out intrigues, to speak out dialogues, estimate steps. (I’m not quite agree with this, ’cause we make plans but God knows best). Cleopatra’s way to a throne, which was got by a young queen in 18 years, -is the result of intrigues that have been precisely thought over in advance. Its way to love, also is a result of intellectual games. By dynastic rules , Cleopatra should become the wife of her own younger brother. And she became, but only formally. She has actually outlined «the best man» from everything that were «available»: Caesar. To «achieve his love» she used extraordinary sense of humor.
2. Love games. (Games in «inimitable») To maintain Caesar’s love, (he was quite spoilt guy, who had lots of women before!) Cleopatra used the tactics of «unique day», i.e. she made every day very different from previous, she made him laugh in the mornings, thus creating a good mood for the whole day. (The best thing, from my point of view!).
3. Matrimonial games. This is quite similar to love games. the difference is that not all is so «sweet and fluffy», I mean, for example, if she wasn’t pleased by something she said it, and was «punishing» her man, but afterwards-when he did a «right thing» she gave him an «encouragement».
4. Games with destiny. As we know from history, (hehe, maybe it’s not true, but however…) Cleopatra was very courageous woman, who loved to risk. Who risks more-gets more.(of course, I mean healthy risk not «crazy risk» like jumping from plane without parachute:)
5.Games with death. Usually people are scared by death and this fear sadden our days, but Cleopatra was playing with death. Her aim was to «to cherish it as a pet, every day to feed it from hands with the thoughts». Examples: Cleopatra suited parties in crypts, prepared corpses and embalmed them, with her own hands taking out the visceral. (agh…that’s not a great idea I think, the better way(for me for example)just to consider death like a journey to other world:) One day, when I had to travel with plane, I was a bit scared because the last time I was going by plane I was 5 years old! Actually my intuition always says me what to do, but then I was a bit scared after a million of programs on TV(thanks news progs and Discovery channel!:( ) that shown air crashes for 10 times a day! Then I said to my mom: «That’s okay, if a plane will fall I will go to a better world, so you will be the unlucky person, but not me!:)» Well, that’s all folks:) I do really love some points from here, I think the sense of humour and habit of living every day as the last day is a great ideas to make life brighter and more interesting.

Wow this was a really interesting post! Haha it just seems like the men in Cleopatra’s life are little kids easily manipulated and waiting for ‘treats’… ;p
I like the second point though, about making the man in your life happy every morning! That’s such a great way to start the day… maybe it’s good to use such a tactic for everyone in your family/ yourself too. But easier said than done. ;p Somedays you’re just dead tired and in no mood to cheer even yourself up!
ooo I know what you mean about the last point. I’ve always been pretty darn scared whenever I think about death… are you religious in any way? Cos I’m not really >< and I’ve always thought that those who have something to believe in have it a lot easier… But I’m focusing now on living life instead of worrying about death. Because life is what we have now!
(thank you so much for all your sweet comments, dear! =D I appreciate how you take the time to read my posts and give sincere comments… of course I don’t mind your english! It’s really good considering it’s your second language!)
