Manicure.
Четверг Авг 7, 2008Last week I had French manicure. Now I painted my nails in black. Why? Because I like short black nails and now it’s more actual than anytime.
How do you think where French manicure appeared? In France? Oh, nope! Actually I thought so before I read an article about manicure. There was said that French manicure was initiated in 1976 in Hollywood for more convenient life of movie stars. This manicure is neutral and looks well with every dress. As actresses should change their dresses many times in day it’s very convenient for them to have such manicure, that shouldn’t be changed many times. 
Another interesting fact is that manicure appeared in ancient time in Egypt. Notable Egyptians painted their nails with red henna but simple citizens had right to paint only in black. The nail polish in kind in which we know it appeared in 1936.
