Spring 2009 ready-to-wear. Quick review of main trends in pants style.
Вторник Мар 3, 2009While searching new trend for spring pants I wasn’t searching for proposes from one particular designer, so these items were chosen practically casually. I just wanted to know, which pants are» in» in general. Of course, I didn’t choose ones I totally dislike;) After watching approximately 200 images I defined a strong trend(actually, it was obvious after watching 2 different designers collections;) : wide leg pants(or oversized)+high waist+light fabric. But some designers still prefere skinny or pencil pants.

P.s. It’s funny that when I wrote in google «wide leg pants» and «high waist» to check if I write it right in English I found these celebrities photos and articles for 2007(!). Are they «in» for so long??
Yep…I’m a bit backward:(
By the way, I have ones like this made in velvet and they have approximately 5 years;) But I started to wear it again only a months ago, and the cause for this was cold weather and my cold;) and my hips a bit grew up, so now I love high waist pants! (few years ago I was looking in them like a board!) But oversized…I don’t thing I will wear it…I’m not very tall and don’t really wear heels (this should be combined with high heels I guess…) and I don’t wanna feel like a gnome;)
But what do you think, you like oversized pants/wide leg pants/high waist?

I’ve just got a pair of high-waist (and I mean HIGH!), wide-legged trousers, and I *LOVE* them, especially with my highest heels – my legs go on forever!

I sometimes feel like you…taking pictures in public is not that easy…I feel embarassed too…
